Default A happy ending for my SRT-6

I traded in my beloved SRT-6 last month, on a SUV. The hubby and I are expecting a baby this Spring, and I couldn't figure out how to put a baby car seat in my Crossfire.

I've been a bit depressed about giving up my car. This was the first car I've ever had an emotional connection with, and I shed a couple of tears when I gave her up.

Anyway...this evening we got a phone call from a German man living in Florida. He bought my car from the dealer I traded it in at, and drove it home to Florida. I think he got my phone number off the oil change records (not sure). He called to ask some questions about the warranty, etc. Call me strange, but I'm so happy to learn that my car ended up in good hands and will be taken care of....and it's a little ironic that my German car has ended up with a German owner. I know he will appreciate her.

I gave him the name of this forum, so maybe he will be stopping by.

Thanks for posting this Sherry. I'm sorry you couldn't keep the SRT-6 and still get the SUV. But life goes on.

I hope the buyer checks in here and becomes a regular. It IS ironic to have your German car end up in the hands of a German. But then I am of German ancestry.

Very cool, glad to see someone got it who will keep it well maintained.

Congrats on the new addition to the family.

Sounds as though the 6 went to a good home.

With a few towels for padding and a cargo net, the new bundle of joy would fit right in the trunk. It's only a baby...but a SRT6 is a SRT6!!

Ha ha! Now why didn't I think of that before I traded the car in?
