Default SRT6 Brake Pads

Hi all... I've looked all over the site but can't find specific info on brake pad recommendations specifically on the SRT6.

I know the Rotex Gold is recommended but no place has one that fits the SRT6 (that I know of). I'm about to put Akebono ceramics on my fronts but want to explore the Rotex Gold option since there are many good things said about them on the forum.

Anyone know that there indeed is Rotex Gold size for the SRT6, and where can I get them? brakeworld.com is one of the places I tried with no luck.

Thanks much!
-Az

I've got Akebono's and absolutely love them. I even think they may be cheaper than the rotex gold and they are completly dustless.

BTW I didn't search to hard so you may be able to find better prices on the rotex gold pads... At least I hope you can.

Sweet... many thanks for the links! With what you've mentioned about the Akebono's, I think that's the route I'm taking.

Did you notice any less braking power? I was told going from semi-metallic stocks to ceramics, that will most likely happen.

Akebono's here also. Didn't notice a reduction in braking... Love the dust-free aspect of them also.

Don't forget to flush your brake fluid while your at it. I used Super lue to make it easy to tell when you've cleared out all the old fluid.

I swapped out my brake fluid with ATE Super Blue brake fluid and put some Stainless steel lines in. I'd have to say the brakes feel a bit firmer.

Recently installed Akebonos on my SRT, and absolutely love them. I got mine from TireRack.com.
