My I/C, that is under supercharger, leak

Have anyone had this issue, and knows how to resolve the problem, kinda plug a hole, if no to buy such expensive new one for 1300$ ?

 

yes it is most likely not repairable, look for a used tested good one to replace it with if you dont want to spend the money on a new one, assuming your not still under powertrain warranty

 

Pictures would be nice. I would think you could repair it unless its leaking coolant internally.

 

I've got one if you need to replace it, for ALOT cheaper then $1,300

 

My original leaked and it was from the insde....unrepairable. Let me know if you need one and dont buy kolevski's...i may sell you my good one, i pressure tested it myself.

 

You'd be better of buying 240's, I'm in Australia if you can get it from a member in the states it would be better and faster, keep me as a last resort lol

Oh I wasn't aware of that, I dont think my cooler or 240's will get there with there current condition with the ash cloud

 

Why did you tell me not to buy from Kolevski?, As i undestand your original leaked, so you bought another for your self that you use on you car and now you are going to sell me that what installed on your car and have your car with no intercooler? or you offer me that leaked one?

 

I do not think any thing happens to INTERCOOler during shipping as it very strong outside construction. I just can not understand where you guys picked them up, because i am supposed to think you both have one original leaked on hands, and one good one on your cars, that i am not sure you want to sell as a car becomes to be undrivable

Rasim I meant with the volcano in europe it may be hard for you to receive anything outside of europe with planes not flying etc.

I have a spare SRT-6 engine, transmission, differential etc. I bought a damaged SRT-6 so I have spare parts at my disposal, I doubt I'd ever need to use the spare intercooler so thats why I was happy to sell it to you. it's 100% perfect.

 

Yeah, I think from his comments he's just afraid, for whatever reason, that you'd sell him the leaking one and say it's the good one.

 

You could always buy a C3 IC...

If the leaks not to bad - you could just add some METH to your coolant for a low cost meth injection system.....

 

METH what does that mean ?
