Default First Time at the Track.

So last night was the first time at the track for me ever and I was learning how to heat my tires up at the gate and what not. My car is bone stock btw and it was so much fun there. My 1/4 was 12.91 at 109 mph. I cannot wait to get under the hood.

Stock 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 1/4 mile trap speeds 0-60 - DragTimes.com

that was bone stock

at the time it set the new stock record but it has been bumped since then i believe. please add your slip there to dragtimes as thats our most comprehensive list.

on another note it looks like i got bumped off the first page, time to do something about that

you only need to worry about r/t if your racing someone. if you are just running for fast times the 60 ft time is the 1 you have to get down to 1.6 or better

Are you the first owner of the car?

I'm the second owner of my car. The first person to own it was an older man late 60's and traded it in for a porche. What's the best way to work on 60 times? Just things like slicks?

Wow that is fast for a first time racing. The 60' is pretty darn good for a stock car.The track prep must have been perfect.

I'm sure there are guys in their 60's who mod their cars (probably some on this forum) ... just saying, unless you're the first owner you don't know for sure if the car is "bone stock" ... it could have a tune for example, and how would you know?

I have taken it to a Chrysler dealership with a certified crossfire tech to make sure it was bone stock. He was also the one to replace my aux pump.

Still faster than my modded Caliber SRT4! Though I expect to get the same or higher trap with current mods.

The first time I took my 135I to the track my 60' times were 2.2 . I didn't get under 2.0 seconds until I put a set of drag radials on it. That got it down to 1.96.Granted its A stock Manual transmission, and I am not hitting it as hard as I could.

Speaking of which - I love the 135is! Great cars with awesome potential! Oddly the fastest ones on drag times are all automatic????
