Thats a good deal if you can get it for the minimum bid. But in the end, two guys will run it up higher than buying it straight from the dealer.

LMAO, Hey you know my tastes as well as I do. I appreciate the extra set of eyes and ears on the forum.

Having said that, I'm a bit shy to purchase this because it appears to be warped.

I work as a Supplier Compliance Specialist/Parts Analyst for Nissan. Part of my job is scrutinizing and rejecting shipments because of flawed stock.

Two things we'll kick a fascia back for: Warping, and bends. Bends create weak points near the corners, and a warp in the fascia will cause an "a" surface to bow slightly once all attach-points are secured.

This fascia is in the original packaging, but you can clearly see the fascia is bent near the passenger's side grille attach-point.

Before anyone purchases this, they need to request a picture of the fascia laying flat on the ground, out of the box. If it's still warped, stay away. Trust me on this.

Having said that, I'm gonna email him and make him an offer. If I can get it shipped for less than dealer asking price, I might spring for it. IF it isn't warped.

And my local Dodge/Chrysler dealer is the definition of incompetence.

 

same here, it seems every chrysler dealer i've been to took all of the "special" kids from school and gave them jobs.

He offered 365 shipped and insured to GA, but I can get one for 315 shipped, granted the cheaper one is refurbd but its a bumper...

 

The bumper skin has slipped off the right shipping support,is why it appears warped. I have one in the origional shipping box also. Squirrel Crusher

Squirrel is correct, I recall mine looked the same way once when I put it back in the box and didn't get it just right.

I paid $309 at the dealer / no tax.

Super secret deal thru the local dealer because I am the one and only Crossfire owner they know about! I think they are trying to bait me so they can get me into their service department for work!

Ordered it in Oct or Nov of 2009. Took several months to get when there was a national back order.

 

Ahhh ok, the reason I ask is because I just paid something like $427 for mine, but I did get it in 3 days.

 

I lucked up and got a brand new one in nashville 300.00 from a guy who sold his xf and didn't need it any longer ,i met hin down about cookville and picked it up,,,now it hangs from the garage ceiling,,,,,,with 2 more xtra nittos

 

The seller must be watching this thread...

I purchased one yesterday from the same guy. I've been emailing him ever since this thread had started. I got it for 380. Been very responsive and great deal compared to what the dealership quoted me.

Anyway, I will let you guys know how it turns out with the sale and the condition of the bumper for those interested in one.
