If all is installed properly, that should certainly not be the case.

If you didn't get a tune, as well, then you may have to wait a little
while for the ECU to adjust to the new hardware.

BTW, the code 3 intake, so far as I can tell, does nothing to help, unless
you just like hearing the whine of the supercharger. It just sucks in hot air
from the engine compartment. Can't be good for the hoped performance
increase.

Code3 pulley is good for 8HP - Code3 Intake only makes HP with the hood up...

Stock SRT6 with a tune will make more HP

If the driver sucks, no amount of power will help...

Is your intercooler pump working?

I dropped a full .5 sec in the 1/4 with the C3 pulley and intake. And a other .5 sec with a tune & Mickey Thompsons.

Since when did the pulley only make 8hp?

code3 pulley makes less power than stock. my car runs very slow as a result of using one. my dyno graphs also show a huge loss in power with the code 3 pulley. i also have a bridge i would like to sell you at a good price if you believed the other things I stated in this post.

I was in disbelief after the 3rd sentence and had to re-read that a couple times before I finished reading the end and caught the joke. LMAO

at MIR pulley shootout I organized over a year ago, if i recall correctly my code3, tune, intake was the 3nd fastest car there. the only faster car was the one using a 150 shot of nitrous and another with an exhaust cutout, intake manifolds and several other mods. since that time, i added a little $200 goodie and updated my tune and now my car runs as one of the fastest on the site. When i hit up the track in the fall with my other $275 mod I should be up there a little further.

my car ran very consistent times the entire day. i have timeslips and videos of all my runs to back up what i do. i have dyno graphs of all my mods as i added them posted on this site as well.

i did not need to spend hundreds of dollars on upgraded heat exchangers or need to upgrade my intake manifolds or take my car apart, cut holes in my hood or spray paint my rotors in the search for speed. I think my car runs great, handles great and is definately reliable. every time i race it is 500 miles or more round trip to get there and back plus the all day track time and the car handles it just fine.

to the OP if your car is slower then you have a problem. check everything you changed, check your intercooler pump, make sure your intake is installed properly and check the 90 degree elbow for leaks. make sure your clamps are on tight. look at the little things first. also, make sure your friend does not have any mods he is not telling you about.

Maybe remove that dumb code3 intake, oh i mean cheesy filter at the back of the factory intake...c3 got some people good with that gimmick.

a short ram on our cars is horrible, since it places the filter in the engine bay behind the radiator... we already have underhood heat problems, so making the car ingest 120 degree or so air isnt any good for performance

Were your tires spinning? When I installed my code3 pulley I had immediate tire spin with my somewhat old tires. Don't believe that 7 hp crap. The pulley makes great power...and I'm no fan of the company. I would scrap the intake for the stock configuration though.
