Default Leaky tops?

I checked out a couple roadster SRT6's locally and both had a leaking issue in the same spot behind the seats. The last dealership told me that was *common* for the convertible crossfires to leak and was fixed in a recall and that it would no longer leak there. Is this true or did I just see a couple abused cars by chance and was lied to?

Thanks for any info.

I have never seen this as an issue on this forum, I have owned my roster for almost a year now and haven't noticed any leaks. The only issue I have seen about the roadsters is that in really hot climates the rear window can become detached.

Have a Ltd Roadster since July 06 with 61,000+ miles and also a SRT Roadster since Sept 07 with almost 14,000 miles while these do not sit outside in the rain( they are covered and inside a carport) they have been exposed frequently to normal rain and to date no problems since dealer indicated that " they had been fixed under a recall" just get it in writing that he will repair at no cost if they do in fact leak chances are he won't
