its ugly but getting there... twin-charged SRT-6!!!
oh wait, its on the rear of the supercharger housing, after the tb. I just remembered because I have an E55 AMG superchager rear housing sitting here.
you should be ok, just remember to adjust the tension on the bov once you get everything up and running.

Yeah, Where are you with the progress.
It seems as if it's been a while since you reported any gains from the project. It was getting pretty interesting, not to mention, educational.
I hope all's well.

Drove from Augusta to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the NOPI / HIN Car show and did not have one problem.. she drove like a champ.. did not do anything crazy just took my sweet time was running around 16afr while cruising at 77mph... the slower i went the higher my afr went but once i gunned it from 77 to 120 and my afr dropped to 11psi and the turbo was a wonderful sound then the bov going off once i slowed down was very loud so i know the turbo was doing its job.. Still don't have the cash to get the tune but got to get the fuel mods on it first anyway. I believe once i get the fuel mods on it ill be pretty close to set

16 afr is massivly high!! better be careful. you might try calling tony at buckhead imports in atl. he may be able to help you with the tune

Eric,
Great to hear "you gots it doin' the road".
I have no doubt you will be getting it dialed in soon.
What class was that trophy for?
With your knowledge of this project I was sure you wouldn't need anyone telling you the name of a tuner he or she seems to think is God.
I think there are a lot of good tuners we haven't even met.
Congrats on your progress so far can't wait to see Dyno Numbers once this things done.
While I couldn't care less about the (what I concider pathetic) 1320' strip your system could be very interesting on a Road Course.
Good work
Mike

Why wouldn't I know about him? I am sure you have dropped their names before. It seems that other than me the only person you can't brag up is yourself. I was speaking with Eric someone that does his own work and I acually respect. I really think you need to spend less time looking for things I post, no sooner do I push the button I am receiving a bashing by you. 2000 posts since only April of last year?
I have had no problems from or with you so I don't know why you act like this.
Hey, Wouldn't "bimmer" be pronounced with a short "i" like simmer?
Don't use this thread about Erics' car and turn it into something about me.
I am going to go work on the car now. If you're going to continue bashing me you'll have to wait until Wednesday for any returned comment, sorry.
Enjoy Lifes' Ride...

Bimmer is used to decribe a BMW automobile, and is pronounced the same as 'simmer'. While BMW motorcycles are referred to as Beamers or Beemers, depending on which side of the pond you are from. I had two of them before the XF, Bimmers, that is.

I am not sure where such explaination is discribed.
Unless there is a dictionary for Junior Executive Creeps I don't think there is an actual difference in "Bimmer" & "Beamer". I owned two 5 series BMWs in the mid 80s (First one was replaced due to a transmission fault) Back when they weren't so much like "Belly Button Cars". You know, everybody has one. That is mostly aimed at the 3 series, you know BMW Wanna Bs.
My question was in jest NOT AN ACTUAL QUESTION though I never expected a clarification.
Thanks anyway,
Montana

Spend a few track days with the BMW CCA and I think you will have a different appreciation than Junior Executive Creeps.....
