Someone please help me. I know there must be someone out there that has a few extra shims for the Code3 pulley. I sold mine the other day and sent all the shims with it. I just realized that my supercharger is now fully engaged all the time because I forgot the put the factory shim back in before installing the factory pulley.

My car is currently undrivable and I'm in a bad spot. I will pay ANY reasonable amount for them as soon as possible. Please help me.

I don't have any shims either, would be nice to scrape a few up for my C3 install as well. Don't take em all!

 

did you get the shims i sent? should have been more than enough for the oem pulley. are you installing the shims then torqueing the bolt before taking the measurements?

 

Mine just had 1 shim for the OEM pulley.

 

Do all generations of code 3 pulleys require shims? I bought a used one and didn't come with any so I am curious

 

OEM uses a .015 I think, but C3 1st and 2nd generations used more. Third Gen uses none.

 

Yeah I bought a 1st gen used C3 as well, went to install it today and realized that I was about 1 or 2 shims shy.

Not to poach your thread, but anybody have a few more lying around? I'd cover ship costs of course. PM me plz, I want to get this monster put on!

 

Is there a easy way to see what Gen you have?

 

I know I have some shims....I will post later, as I have some things to do...and just stepping out....all who need shims, PM me with your info for shipping them and such, and I will be in touch...I want to save a few, as you never know down the road if I will want to go back to stock for some reason, but I know I have a few lying around....
