a $5k warranty extension....ouch! I wouldn't be interested in a warranty extension at that price, especially since the people going to do the work, don't know how or can get parts to begin with.....but, each to their own.
Warranty or no warranty, I wouldn't pay more than $20k.....

Crossfire roadsters at this time of year are not liable to move, so that gives you an edge. Depends on how motivated he is.
Come Spring the price will hit $20,000.

I verified with Chrysler and there is no cost to transfer the Warranty.
To me the warranty is woth more since I can drive it till May 2013
without worrying about powertain so I can push this car to it's stock limitations.
I am negociating at present moment and should know by end of next week.

Well from reading the prices you guys are telling to pay for this car and if I buy this car I will probably be the first one to drive the price up on this model which in the end result will probably help increase the value instead of continuously decreasing it.
Maybe I am setting a trend here

I have a list of about 6 SRT6 Roadsters for sale in the states that range from 18 to 24K all in the deep south which to me is approximately 2000 miles. Transport quotes are in the realm of $1,600.00, customs, brokerage, taxes and getting the car to Canadian norms are a lot of money and paperwork for a car that I would basically buy without getting to see or drive in person and in general has no warranty left.
I want this car and if I have to pay 25K for it I will not regret it for one moment especially with a warranty till May 2013.
I have seen a lot of statements that the Chrysler people do not know what to do with this car but a warranty is a warranty and I will make sure they get it right if there is a problem with the car.

Hey Ben, you haven't stated it but I'm betting this is a US car, if it's not then 24 grand sounds about right for a CDN spec. car. Just an FYI, Chrysler void's all factory warranties on US car's sold for export. Some aftermarket warranties will transfer to Canadian owners, mine did.......just hope I don't have to use it.

This is the only car I found in Canada and it is all Canadian.
Dash has 24,000 kilometers which is 15,000 miles approx.
Also speed cluster is in kilometers with a limit of 320km = 200 mph.
That is why the warranty is transferable
Starting price was $26,900 canadian I have him down to $25,300
hoping for $24K

Well, if it is the car that you want, and you plan on keeping it for quite a while, a couple thousand is not something to be concerned with. When I saw mine, I knew immediately that it was the car I wanted. If I had to pay more for it, I would have, and would have never regretted it. Good luck with the purchase, and enjoy.
Thanks guys,
This would be my 50th anniversary gift to myself. I have worked hard in my lifetime and still do. The kids are at an age were they can make their own decisions and I have put enough to cover for all University costs so I thought I might treat myself for once.
I should know by Wednesday if he accepts.

Congrats on finding a CDN spec SRT6 roadster, very rare. I have only come across 1 before and that was 2 years ago at a Chrysler Dealer in Windsor........asking price was $33,000.
