that would be a VERY good candidate to RE-PAINT!

The price seems a bit high for 41K miles.....

It deffinitly looks to have every bit of 40k miles. Finish, drivers seats and radio are all showing heavy use. My guess is that the harder you look, the more you'll find. My opinion from the mile and photo's, this is more like a $13k car.

Everything is usually more expensive in South Florida. He could probably get a couple thousand off.

Hi everyone!

I so much appreciate everyone giving their opinions and help! made my day!
As I am in Sweden it will be my dad that will be checking the car out.
Many thanks for the offering, I think it will be the best if my dad goes there by himself at this stage. But it would be grand maybe at a later stage to get your opinion on the car aswell. So many thanks in advance.

I think so aswell that the price of the car is quite a lot. But I thought that I should send my dad over to the dealer and say the following:

13k. today. take it or leave it?

Do you believe the dealer will take it? Any other hints on how to go forward. ?

Nope. $15.9k out the door is the lowest I say they will go. From a dealer you still have to pay tax and dealer fees. At least you won't have to pay license fees. You will have more leverage if your dad has the cash/funds with him. For him to secure the deal and you to send money from Sweden may hurt your immediate dealing power.

Cash is already there.
Still pay tax if I am exporting it?
You think it's better for me to buy through an autosale? Private seller is bigger risk to be scammed.. For us foreigners at least as we do not know the system etc.
So 15.9k .. What can I leverage with?
Cash
High mileage

Yes you'll pay state tax unless your dad has a dealers license. Google the city it's located in for state tax. Usually 7-10%. Why wouldn't you go private seller? Your dad is your eyes and ears, and no tax. Have you also calculated the import tax of the vehicle?
Not much leverage since Florida is coming into the winter season of great weather. Maybe if you hit a northern state getting into snow season and these cars will not see a buyer until next summer.

Ouch! Mine's in better condition with less miles, I'd ask $15k if I were interested in selling.

Talk them down!

The thing is that I do not want to take up too much time from my dad.
To the dealers, quick in and out, new car, transport it. Finito.
So the car have to be within 20 minutes radius..The black one I found, is...

Now that would be a better deal. You get all the performance mods already done which would cost lots of $$$ and be inconvenient to do from Sweden.
