Default Pic of my new SRT-6

Howdy from Austin TX! I just picked up this 2005 Black SRT-6 from Kentucky today. I know it has a ton of snow on it, but i'll get it cleaned up soon. I'm in the middle of my 1100 mile drive back home. Looking to get involved with my local group CTC and make improvements. I already have a pulley, boost guage, lighted door sils, rims, and an extra intercooler installed. While I think this bad boy is fast enough, I may need a eurocharged tune and dyno.

Does anyone else have the euro style plate for the crossfire? I'm not sure if I am allowed to have it in Texas. My apologies if I posted this in the wrong place, I did not see an Introductions forum. Looking forward to learning a lot from y'all.

Hey Tuna, the old owner was a service manager at a Chrysler dealership. I have a list of things here that he did, including the extra intercooler, oil catch can, and slotted and cross drilled rotors...but I don't know what it is. How about I take some pics, and you can tell me what I have?

This is a bad *** car that my wife bought me for Christmas.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the car. I have a couple things in common with your car. I also have a Euro plate on mine. It is an actual plate that was registered in Stuttgart Germany. I just recently won a auction for the billet upper and lower grills that came off your new car. I have got the upper grill put on, but waiting for warmer weather to get the lowers put on. I will post pictures when I get them put on. I am curious what the old owner did to cover up the holes that had to be drilled into the bumper for the lower grills. Here is a link to the auction showing the billet grill on your car. Custom Chrome Grill top and bottom, 3 pieces - eBay (item 190476724266 end time Dec-10-10 12:42:09 PST)

Congrats Jobee! You joined the forum over two years ago and this is your first post. You must have been doing a lot of lurking and researching to find the right car for you. Have a safe drive home. CTC is a great group. Enjoy!

Wow, you guys should be detectives! That is the car, and the eBay name is the initials of the previous owner. I wonder if he is a member on the board. If he is, thanks for your car man, it seems like a great car.

I'll have to check out and see what he did to cover up any damage that may have happened by replacing the custom grille with the stock one.

Thanks Inferno. That shows you how long I have wanted the SRT-6. I've wanted one ever since my wife made me get rid of my BMW Z3 Coupe, M Powered. She said she was too tall to fit into it properly. Cheers.

Does anyone know what the hood emblem "ST" means? I have this, but thinking about replacing it with the /////AMG one that I ordered from Andrew on this board.

ST stands for Startech. Chrysler commissioned a couple custom Crossfires to be developed by a German company called Startech. The ST badge was not a part of the Startech conversion though. Here is a picture of a Startech Crossfire.

I love looking at pics of other ppl's Crossfires, so I thought I would share some of my own. I've paired this up with my Chrysler 300 C Executive Series (mini stretch limo) which is also in black.

Nice pics. Love the 300. You can definitely see where he took the other lower grills off, and the stock lowers were painted and now flaking off. So, there is 2 holes from where the license plate was, and 8 holes where the lower grill was. You may want to consider at some point buying a new front bumper to clean her up. Surprisingly, the front bumper is relatively inexpensive. You should be able to pick a brand new one up for around $350. I am planning on doing this so I will have one for down the road if I want to change mine back to stock. They may be hard to find in the future. Heck they have not been easy to find at times in the past year.

Nice Jobee It looks like black is really the only color choice you consider in a car you're 4 for 4. The 300 executive is kinda cool too, hopefully the butler drives most days so you can enjoy the extra rear legroom I like your estate as well Heck, I even like Austin, our corporate office is there so I get to visit 3 or so times a year.

Thanks. While I like the Z8, I don't have $100k to drop on a car. For $15k, you can't beat a used SRT-6.
