Working shift paddles

Default Working shift paddles

Now we have shift paddles in our SRT .....

They work very well with remote control from the steering wheel to the shiftbox.

The tiptronic works also.

We think this is the first Crossfire with shift paddles.

Emaxx, that looks awesome. It is however, not the first. There is a little yellow V-8 Roadster here that has shift paddles. Check out MisterTaz

So, any chance of a step by step tutorial with a parts list?

Ohhh....... Also can you please share how you changed the instrument clusters to blue?

Is that the Raid steering wheel? Very nice unit. Love the paddle-shift concept, too bad mine is a stick

Any tips on how you modified your gauges? Those look amazing.

Partlist:

1 x Raid Daytona 340mm with shift paddels
1 x Raid airbag-adapter for SLK R170
1 x 2 or 4 channel remote control with changeover contact relay and 12VDC transmitter

1 x Relais for the horn change the signal from negativ to positiv

Price for all: 1.350,00 Euro

Images follow for connect the horn signal

To connect the shift box, show the Image.

To change the Gauge color youz need:

1 x Plasma Folie (design by my self) = 250 Euro
1 x 10x10 cm polarizing film for the LCD Displays = 11 Euro
3 x 5mm LED 12VDC for the backlight of the Displays

Is the gear change from one gear to another any faster with this mod??? I find the gear selector to be whatever and the shifts are not at all commanded, sorta hope it up shifts sorta hopes it does it soon..... Woody

Hey, I know that word!! Maybe it is because I was called a Sheiß Kopf on more than one occasion when I lived in Germany. LOL

I have ALWAYS wanted a paddle shift lol, the image shown below is that for the horn or to connect the paddles to the transmission? do you think it's difficult to do for someone with very basic electronic knowledge or should it not be attempted?

Great mod and the steering wheel is goregous!

Doesn't look like it, he customized his gauges, look at the initials on the speedometer.
