Default Pulley and Tune Baltimore

I want to have a supercharger pulley installed and have the car tuned for the summer.
Anyone know someone near Baltimore that will do a good job.

If you guys want to check out www.jpcracing.com and let me know if you like them I can set up a tune day for our SRT6s. They're located in Millersville MD right off Rte 97-SB.

Chaz I've seen your car and if you trust them so do I, does that mean you want a tune also? What kind of price are we talking for 4 Tunes?

Dave.

Spoke with the owner at JPC. He's willing to do the tune (he needs at least five SRT6s to make it cost effective) but he's working on obtaining the software for the SRT6. I'll update you when I can.

I am just curious to why you would go with a company who has never done a tune on a SRT6 before? These cars are not ones that you wanna just play with, its not a neon or a car that diablosport will have a premade file for...

I have to agree with Jake.

If we could figure something out I might be able to bring my laptop/cable down and do box tunes with Jerry on the phone.

...now if I can only remember where I put my cable for safe keeping.

No disrespect Jake but have you checked the company's credentials? In addition to being local and affording those that want the tune a discount, I've seen what this company can do. If you guys are interested in making the trip....just holla. I'm sure the SRT6 owners in the DMVPWV area will step up.

Nothing wrong with other companys trying it, compitition is good. Just wait to see what they are putting out for power and the AF results and then compare. This might make eurocharged shine even more!

No disrespect taken. I do know the company, and I have also seen first-hand a lot bigger companies like that try it and blow engines. (one being an exotic lambo tuner) The MB Ecu is a completely different monster, as none of the maps are documented whatsoever. Then its all encrypted, and you would need the proper software and unlock keys just to see what your looking at, yet alone access it for modification. Diablosport won't do it.

I just get worried when I see stuff like this. Case in point, we were just in toronto, tuning and fixing a E55 that another tuner thought they could tune. Blew 2 pistons and f-ed the block.

I was just curious. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars in equipment and testing to make sure we have the best tune out there for the car, at the best pricing.

Would love to know the pricing they are offering, even with a discount.

Not at all, and I appologize if thats how it came accross. I know for a fact there is not another tuner touching the x-fires that has access to or changes some of the things that we do. We have access to the ENTIRE ecu, and don't just modify a few sections like most other tuners. Thats why people are always talking about torque limiting/shifting points with our tune! Its not just about making HP. Its about soo much more lol.

Can you guys at EC make changes to how fast the trans. downshifts, or get rid of the adaptation, and better throttle response, these are the things I'm looking for more than all out power (which is good also..)?

I’m all for a Tune in MD.

I’d like to get the pulley and CAI done prior to the tune.
But I digress... I’m just a gear head want to be. I’m going to get my feet wet and change the IC Pump this weekend.

... So I still need to find someone in MD to do the pulley install.

Sure, and better yet, we already have all that done in our standard $300 tune and have for a while! If you look at some of our previous tuned customers, you will notice that they are able to do different things now like break tires loose stopped from second gear etc!

The only thing we don't do is remove adaptation, as its not possible on the ecu/tcu... But simple pedal reset fixes that!

If enough are interested we can definately make a trip out there!
