Any SRT6 members in the Wilmington, NC area that would not mind taking an hour out of their day letting a local shop take some measurements of their car? The shop would only need the vehicle for about 20 min, take engine compartment and underbody measurements while on the lift.

I can paypal some cash for your time if you require. It would really help me out as I am up in PA.

LOL...I knew this would get asked. Well, in my quest to better a car as I always have, I've been doing research on V8 replacements. I've read all the posts, rants and raves but always come back to I want what I want.

Anyhoo, I've been talking with the shop that installed the 6.1 in a Plymouth Prowler YouTube - Plymouth Prowler Hemi Swap, 6.1 SRT Hemi. The have a methodology behind the swap and he is very interested in the possibility of doing mine.

As he is in NC an I in PA, I figured I'd reach out to the community for a measurement check. Are you in the area?

 

I'm 4 hours or more away. Our member Rudy is the Crossfire V-8 mod expert. Great guy. There's a mod shop here in Charlotte that installs the newer Corvette engines with a rear turbo into Nissan 350's and Infiniti's. Squirrel Crusher

 

Hey Squirrel, I've been following Rudy and the V8's...AWESOME WORK. I just want to be different.

Think that shop can install a LS7 for me? LOL. Actually would never do that. Trying to keep the bloodline pure.
