Default Help please!

Hello again. Guys i got a problem.

Today i decided to drive my car after 3 months of staying in garage during winter. Well i put my battery back on its place, started engine , let it work for 10 -15 minutes. Then i started to move back. Because there is still snow i got some problems during moving out but after few forth-back moves i get my car out. During this moves on snow BAS/ESP lamp lighted for 1 minute ,then faded off.

Then i parked my car, put it on P, then got out, closed garage and tried to drive but i cant move selector switch to Drive (D). I tried to restart engine and checked brakes, but nothing helps. I simply cant move selector from parking to any other option, drive or back or neutral.

What can it be?

Check all of your fuses. I know little of these cars and even less of the SRT, but other newer vehicles have electrical interlocks tied it to the shifter. I wouldn't even know where the fuse would be if that is the problem. Best I can do. Good luck. Let us know.

Others, more knowledgable than I, will chime in shortly.

First ... try this ... turn key to "on", then try to turn steering wheel back and forth while trying to shift out of park. Steering wheel should not turn, but rock it back and forth.
If no help with that ... check your owners manual and find where you need to use the "special tool" or a long skinnie screw driver to unlock the tranny. Hope this helps ..

Special tool helped... I can shift from P only with it. From D to others and to P it shifts easy... Car moving good, without any kicks, etc. Well, tomorrow will try to use some WD-40 to clean shifting device(dont know how it called in English)....
