SRT Roadster in McHenry, IL

There is a SRT roadster at Buss Ford in McHenry, IL., 60050. Its listed on Autotrader for $19000. I checked it out this AM. Mileage @ 23000. Grey metallic. Vin# 1C3AN75N95X046397. Don't know if was a forum member, but was a local tradein. No dents/dings, but front 2 wheels have road rash and 2 newer Eagle tires. Rears have original PS2's and will need replacement. Engine appears to be stock with no mods, but needs a detailing of engine. Rear window is tite, b ut top needs treatment. Did not start it up and drive it, because of my time limitations.
I asked a sales person named "Russ" if I could check it out and he said "what do you mean". I told him that I was checking it out for a friend that asked me, and he just rolled his eyes. Not friendly at all. He asked me, "do you want to know how much it is?", and I responded "no, I know what its worth" . "How much?" he said. I just laughed and said, "what ever you're asking, until it sells" He didn't like that response, and said I was rude. LMAO. Typical used car salesman ......
Be that as it may, if you have interest .... they state in their ad that they will negotiate price.

Good info and assessment. I was interested in a similar car, with 12k miles, in southern IN for $22k but they would not dicker and it sold. As you can guess, I am partial to 2005 graphites and may just want to complete my collection with an SRT6 roadster and a coupe. I just made Buss an offer of $15k via their webpage based on them providing two key fobs and all accessories and top work. Stay tuned.

Doesn't look promising. They did not answer any of my questions and countered with $18k instead of their $19k internet asking price. But they provided some BS version of carfax that shows 3 owners in 3 states, two of them leases. I'm sure the buyers are knocking down their door on the WI border to buy a roadster this time of year. I may counter one time and then they can keep it.
