Default 2005 srt6 coupe trunk...

Does anyone know what the rectangle area under the carpet on the right is supposed to have? I just got a car today and have no idea. Fyi, it has only 2651 miles on it, absolutely perfect car...

Accord to me the right should be empty. Your own to storage compartment.
Nice catch! I have one with 9000 miles. Your must be brand new. Color? Be sure to add it to the forum list of SRT.

Lot's of speculation over the last 6 years. Most likely is the first aid kit in the SLK320. It also can hold a bottle of duty-free liquor.

That .45 isn't going to do you any good in the trunk if/when you need it.

Nope, empty.
The first aid kit and triangle are attached with Velcro to the rear wall of the trunk.
Not much use if you bleed to death getting it out.

Dave, that looks jury rigged to me! I think some one was pulling your leg when they suggested you place them there.

That is not my car, those photos came out of the UK.
They were posted to show the location in another thread on the same topic some time back. The first aid kit would fit in that pocket.
These photos came from Switzerland, I found these better pictures before I found the UK post.
First Aid Kit #05102755AA
Safety Triangle #05102801AA
