Default Discovered something interesting

This works only for the Crossfire SRT-6, when driving and having the stereo on radio, not CD mode...under the lcd screen (the ten or so small square buttons) if you press the last one to the very right, and then immediately press the first one on the very left. something on the screen pops up indicating you're speed but in different measurement (have no idea why it says 450 when going 65-70 mph...anyone clarify exactly what that whole thing is about?

How do you know it only happens with an SRT-6 ? Do you have a NA also? Does the readout change with changes in speed? Is that a NAV radio?

I just checked this on my N/A and it works. It also works when on the Nav screen as well, not just radio. It shows speed and direction with three arrows under it. As far as the speed it shows, I have no idea since the car was sitting in my garage when I checked. It does not say anything about it in the radio manual either.

yes, my brother has the limited crossfire...i tried for his, did not work but possibly i did it wrong. numbers change as speed increases and decreases, does not work on CD mode but works when on radio and nav mode. my vehicle is a 2005 srt6 with navigation.

Probably the same engineer who designed the cup holder.

I believe it has to do with the speed sensitive volume control.
