Default New member ported s/c?

What's up guys my names Kevin, finally bought a 05 srt crossfire I will take delivery this coming week it will be my primary vehicle but I will keep it in the garage for about a month because I'm currently driving my brothers 350z while he's out on duty,so I have time to mod my car I have a I/c radiator in my garage I was planning on installing on my old car (jaguar s-type r) I will mock up brackets out of cardboard then take it to local aluminum welder,I had the supercharger ported on my jag(eaton m112)and loved the s/c whine and power, has anyone done this? I searched but didrent find anything any input would be great

there have been a few that have done it. obviously you will have to remove the s/c to do this so new gaskets are req. also while you have it out you may as well drain the s/c oil and replace it. theres a thread on how do do it.
research on mbworld under the c32 and the e55 forums. the c32 has the same engine and the e55 is the v8 version and theres a good bit of molding info.

good luck and fotos would be great for a diy while you are modding

Both the Eurocharged C32's had ported superchargers. Just porting the S/C its self with out any other modifications will probably have marginal gains. Add bigger intake manifolds, better exhaust manifolds and a larger pulley and the air will flow a lot better, and utilize the ported S/C. If you want to port one without taking a part your car, I have a spare in my garage that I will let go of for cheap.

Are there any after market exhaust manifolds out there for these cars? Might be a stupid question but I have yet to find any......

Best bet for performance parts is needswings.com. rob has downpipes with cut outs, and other exhaust opinions. From my research and watching the forum headers were made but are rare and the gain is a moot point. Most exhaust mods are for a sound preference. Eurocharged.com is a good sight if you want a larger pulley 181 or 185 or a tune. You can remove the ECU and mail it to them or buy the tuning cable and have them reflash the ECU with the tuning cable.
