I had noticed the first 3 were in error and mentioned it in post #212:
The first 3 entries on the 2006 listing are not SRT-6 models:
61257 = Limited Roadster
61367 = Limited Coupe
61376 = Limited Roadster
Additional proof is confirmed via the full VIN's which show engine code "L" in slot 9 instead of "N":

5X061050
5X061051
6X061052
5X061053
5X061055
5X061056
6X061058
6X061059
So 61051 is a 2005 model, 610252 is a 2006 and 61053 is a 2005. For whatever reason Chrysler decided to fill in unused 2005 sequence numbers on the 2006 builds. I noticed the same "overlap" a couple years back when I was working on some 2008 Crossfire numbers.
This is why I would highly recommend that you add the "5X0" and "6X0" prefix's to your database (easy to do in Excel). While there happens to be no "crossover" numbers for SRT6 models there are, as shown above, crossover numbers for non-SRT models. What I have found in working on other registry's is that you cannot always go by numbers that are provided by owners or other sources (like ebay, Auto Trader etc.) - they often make mistakes in numbers and model years.

Yes. This is where it gets confusing as the numbers overlap - so there is no "exact" crossover point. Based on my research so far, 2005 models end with 61093 while 2006 models begin earlier - with 60753.

I have attached a PDF file with some updated information for the 2006 portion of the registry. I filled in some areas that were missing information (Country for example).

Good evening. I'm new to this fourum but would like to get my SRT6 Roadster registered. '05 , I bought in Jan '06 in Phoenix with 3000 miles on it and have taken it to Houston, Portland OR , Phoenix again ,and now to Dallas. #046878, machine grey. 18,000 miles on it now. As of right now it sits in my garage and hasn't been driven for six months. Nothing wrong with it, it was just The Car I bought to start dating with afterward. IT WAS THE RIGHT CAR ! Now I'm married again and don't need a dating car but the wife ( whom I courted in this car ) said I ( we ) can never sell it.
Another update for you;
1C3AN79N75X043136, new addition to list, C, Graphite, Maryland salvage, at auction, wait status
1C3AN79N35X043781, #511 update, C, Black, Maryland salvage, at auction, wait status
1C3AN75N15X048242, #854, change from active to salvage, R, Black, North Carolina salvage, at auction, wait status
1C3AN75N65X054408, #1280 update, R, SSB, New York salvage, at auction, wait status
Wait status means the vehicle is at auction, but insurance company has not determined type of title or released for sale. A vehicle can sit in wait status for 2 - 6 months.

Thanks for all the valuable info.
I don't want to hijack the SRT thread but I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide complete VINs, Build dates and location if you have them for the cars used as examples of end of 2005 beginning 2006 MY:
6X060753
5X061050
5X061051
6X061052
5X061053
5X061055
5X061056
6X061058
6X061059
5X061093
I'm also interested in all the work you did on the 2008s. I'm working on a registry of all Crossfires. You can email it to me if you want at xfiregistry@yahoo.com or post it here:

Thanks

The complete data base is a work in process and i'm planning on making it. available to members that contributed to it. I like to reach at least 15% of production for each model year to provide a good sample. Let me know if you need something....but it looks like you're pretty much got it covered.
Thanks again

Your information has been added to the listing. The correct color is Graphite, since Machine Gray was on the rare 2006 models. Welcome aboard the forum, there is a wealth of information for you car.....

The changes were made to the 2006 listing.....
Apparently the owner of the "67631" thought they had an SRT6, but was otherwise...
