Hello,
A couple of questions. Are the serial numbers based on the last 5 numbers of the VIN?
Was there a particular reason for starting the database, i.e. problems related to certain subsets?
I've been away from the forum for the past 3 years but am about to purchase a 2005 SRT-6 Areo Blue Limited Roadster. If the answer to the first question is yes, than the one I am buying is already in the database. I haven't had a chance to research this model here on the forum yet, but if anyone could tell me any issues I should check out first, I would be grateful for the information, since I have not signed on the dotted line yet :-)

The serial numbers are the last 5 digits of the VIN#'s.
There were several attempts by various forum members to obtain a database from Chrysler and Karmannn in Germany to obtain the detailed listing of all 2005 and 2006 SRT6's manufactured for 2005 and 2006. Since the inquiries failed to produce a listing, SRTSIX ( a forum member) started this thread to compile a database of all SRT6's manufactured. This began over 5 years ago, and to date, we've found almost 59% of those SRT6's, with the majority found on various other sites for sale, just as your potential buy.
As far as "issues" with the SRT6's, this has been discussed numerous times, but the Inner Cooler Pump, Headlight fog over, the Crankshaft sensor, RCM issues related to soldering, and possible convertible top glass issues (on cars located in the southern states, such as Florida), failing to adhere to the top. The search button is the beginning of any resolution to any issue.
Where is the car located? Since it does not contain a forum member's name on the serial number listed, it will be difficult to obtain any specific defects on this car.
Good Luck.....

Don't know if you want it or not but the SRT6 I removed the engine from to give it a new life in my '04 limited had a vin # of 103AN79N55X04474. It was wrecked and had front end damage so I removed the drive train and electronics to put in my N/A '04 limited. The car was a Black coupe.Touch base with me if more info is wanted or needed.

The VIN# listed is not an SRT6, since the first one listed on the PDF Sticky file has the last five digits of 25366 vs. your number of 04474, which is out of sequence. The only numbers we are tracking are those SRT6's delivered from the factory to the Chrysler dealers for sale.
