Srt-6 to Magnaflow as of this morning~!
Through the works of Sheldon and I...we managed to get my car into Magnaflow for a custom exhaust build. The car was dropped off this morning to Head of r&d Gabe Hall. They will have the car though the week and pick up day will be Fri. Evening! Looking forward to the development and dyno runs of this long awaited exhaust build.
Well done! Thanks for putting your SRT to the test!
The Magnaflow system I put on my Challenger SRT8 allowed for the reuse of the factory retangular exhaust tips. Sure hope the SRT6 system allows the use of our factory tips!
To viperrt..
I still have to get my stock srt tips drilled... impossible to keep them clean! Ima put a small hole near the front (part towards the front of the car) of the tip so the **** can drain and the outside stays nice and shiney!
Btw... anyone know how to get the stock brakes to stop or reduce brake dust caked onto my rims? Every week I have to scrub them clean even after using a repellant. Grr

Great news. Thanks for putting your SRT6 up for that. Hopefully the results will be great.
ohboykittens - re: brake dust. You can apply a coat of non-abrasive wax to the clean wheels and that will make the dust easier to rinse off with a hose.

Bad news... this is what I got from Don this morning:
The Crossfire from Marc was brought in but the stock system had been modified in such a way that it was not possible to prototype off of it. We need a car with the stock exhaust intact. So it’s back to the key board!
Let me know what you find.
Had you taken off a resonator or something?

Very curious to see the results. I had a magnaflow muffler on my car last year and the drone inside the cabin was unbearable. Hopefully theirs will be better.
Well its too bad I live in Michigan, I would be more than willing to let them have my car. But someone should jump on this, because if its this hard for them to even get an srt6 into their R&D area, to make up a system. What are the chances they will want to follow through with this new design for us few that would want one. Just a thought.

You know its just too bad that so many projects start off with good intentions, and then go nowhere. I have seen this many times over in other hobbies as well. But I must admit that reading through old posts, it happens here more than other groups I have belonged to.
