Srt6 stock exhaust size (piping/tubing)?
Okay so kind of a silly question, but I've looked and looked and can't seem to find the answer.
What is the stock exhaust size on a srt6? 2.5", 2.75"?
Is it the same all the way back (ie the dual pipes before the resonator and the single pipe after)?
I'm looking for a y pipe/new tips for after the muffler delete and wanted to be sure

The the stainless piping I bought for my resonator delete was 2 3/4"....
Here are the parts I used from Burns Stainless
MC2304-238-16
Merge Collector with two 2-3/8 flared inputs (3-3/8 center) into one 2-3/4 output – (16 Gauge 304 SS)
304-UB-275-40-16
16 gauge 2-3/4” U-bend with 4.0” radius 304 SS – no flares (stock item)

So it is 2.75"? (you didn't need any transition piping to connect it?
I'm mainly concerned about the pipe that goes into the exhaust. I'm trying to find a replacement dual tip setup, or a y pipe and two tips.

Mike, It appears you have an "H" pipe in your system. Is that needed when both banks end up in one pipe? Effect sound? Just curious. James
That is the factory H.... don't know if it is needed... but it dosent seem to hurt anything....
I like the sound of the car without the resonator.... I think it has gotten a little throatier in the last 2+ years since I took out the resonator.....

I went with a true dual set up 2.25 stainless 304 on my new exhaust I just built...I was using 3 inch straight back with custom y pipe with stainless piping, which is now for sale, but I did this last month and the xpipe sounds so much cleaner with the muffler I had made....here are some pics

So you had a 3 and then went to 2.25"?
Do you remember what size the stock one was? Only one person said it was a 2.75", so I just wanted to make sure

Well I had a single 3 and went to a dual 2.25 xpipe set up! the single 3 inch created some good gains and sounded great, but Im feeling the difference with the xpipe so we will se when I get it to a dyno! Also the sounds this xpipe is making is sounding like a ferrari or a nice tuned sound exotic...the straight pipe sounded great at certain rpm's but this xpipe is unreal!!!!Stock size from? Back from the header or muffler only?? Cats? The piping size is different from the header to the rear of the muffler...
