Mine was the same, turns out it was a leak in one of the metal pipes from the condensor. I tried the sealer, and it blocked the expansion valve, so I ended up replacing the pipe, and the condensor, since the pressure built up and blew a hole in it.
I would be extremely cautious with the sealer, I've never had success with it.
if you find an independant shop they'll find the leak for you, and I'm sure it will be cheaper than Chrysler.
My repair ended up at about $1400, the pipe is expensive, used an aftermarket condensor, and even the oil in the system is not 'normal' and guess what .......expensive

We started using the auto sealer in our vans and it worked fine. Most leaks are at the O rings on the lines or the carbon to carbon compressor seal. I would suggest the leak stop but you can do a leak check on all the joints with soapy water solutition. Also look for oil stains on joints.
Dealers are typically scortched earth pricing and Id never go to them, keep looking for solutitions, Enjoy. Woody

Spent my life in the HVAC business. Take the car to a quality shop for repair. It takes skilled labor to repair. I did a lot of it for family and friends. they still call. gary
You can also replace the schraeder valve. There's a special tool to remove it without losing refrifgerant and opening the system to the atmosphere. It costs about $100, but still cheaper than the pipe.
Typically our valve is an odd size, so the one you buy for 'most' vehicles doesn't fit.
Let me know if you need more details, on the tool or valve core
What part of the country are you in ?
If you're close to Houston you can borrow mine, or maybe someone near you has one ?
