2012 Gumball 3000
I just got an invitation to participate in the 2012 Gumball 3000 rally race! As you may know, this is a very expensive rally to participate in and I have nowhere near the funds I would need to cover the entry fee. They have their trip already planned out from New York to LA with stops along the way. As much as I would love to drive my SRT-6 across America I just can't afford it (unless you know someone or some businesses that want to sponser me) I suggest we try to meet up with the rally along their trip. There is a planned stop in Dallas and I plan on driving up there to see some really amazing cars! Here is the website with the planned stops. 2012
Alright, they will be at the track in May.....what does the entry fee cost...let alone the fuel for such a trip, and any hazards that pop up........but, hey, I would get to see you in INDY....lol....

Hell it costs almost $5000 to add a third person into your car...luckily the SRT only has two seats.
I spent some time with the Gumballers in Copenhagen in 2010, not driving/riding with them...just partying with them. Those guys (and gals) have no inhibitions and pretty much party until they blackout every night then get up and drive the next day. It was crazy.

Pretty much, except those guys and gals take college parties to a whole different level. It was fun to watch something like $40million in cars roll in and park before it was party time.
THIS is where they partied for the night.

Am I missing something? I don't see a stop in Dallas. Or, maybe they've changed the route since you started this thread. If they do stop in Dallas I'd like to see them too.

Ahh... remember the good old days when you just showed up with your car, they gave you a number, and you took off from the Red Ball garage in the middle of N.Y. on a Sunday, and you were on your own until you made it to L.A.
Even without all the big shindigs planned across the country, there was still enough action to make several movies, and fill up a lot of pages of Car & Driver Magazine.
Now it sounds like it's nothing more than a bunch of rich Frat boyz getting together and throwing themselves a Nation Wide Beer Blast/Back Slappin Party.
