What's the story on this
I remember threads about this piece of ****, but I never thought I'd have it in my own town.

Should send them a message and ask them what the difference between the black max and a standard srt6 lol
I agree with tunaglove - what is going on here? I keep trying to get smarter about all of this, but I have missed something. I don't understand the pricing nor do I understand the scorn - but I am beginning to feel as tho I don't understand all this pricing stuff anyway. I am thinking that all SRT owners are 'special' - but I am not sure why. Franc has provided some recent insight about pricing, as has Kimpossible. This is kinda like when you start a new job and people are taliking some lingo you don't understand, and they have the inside scoop, and you don't.
Y'all have helped me get smarter, but I need more info here.

I guess they are just taking the **** on the "special" black max edition of a SRT. There is no official "black max" edition. And this car is moving from dealer to dealer across the states. Noone seem to be wanting it.

The original owner swapped a bunch of NA parts for his SRT parts prior to the car being repossessed. It is a bastardized SRT that is missing many, many SRT parts. It has a vinyl graphic down the side that says Black Max Edition. It has been showing up at a new dealer every couple of months. Once a dealer has to start paying interest on the loan, they dump it back at an auto auction, and a new dealer gets it. Every dealer advertises it as a "Rare Black Max Edition", which of course does not exist. Every dealer says it is a local trade, when the only owners over the last couple of years have been a myriad of dealers.

You have to go get a picture of this car with you next to it........it should be our "Poster Child"....no one wants to adopt it....I wish Rudy could get his hands on it, and do a conversion....just to save it...
Black Max indeed. Nick, John and Steve should take their cars by for a photo opp with this rare Crossfire. i would love to be there to hear Nick's conversation with the sales man. That would be priceless LOL.
I love it.... We could start a "Caught by the Black Max" club. It is more priceless than the traveling crossfire bears.
Then you can explain to the dealer the notoriety of this car. Haha!
