Wavetec has arrived install to follow photos to be made.
Got the rear in a poorly padded box today. Will start on the weekend to do a bit of a utube video if I can remember how I did it before. Stay tuned, I hope this goes well.
Does anyone know if the side rear bearings on the differential ( not the case) come off without a puller tool??? I hope so cause I dont do pulling any too well...............?
Woody in the garage this weekend it seems.........

Hey Woody,
Good luck with the install this weekend. I'll be very interested in seeing
your results. BTW, got my WaveTrac delivered yesteray, and the box
looked like it had gone through hell on the way. 3 gashes in one side,
another on the other side, and the gashes went all the way through the
bubble wrap to slice the plastic bag around the unit. Looks like the box
was tossed around like a basketball. Are these units built to be dropped?

For 1100 bucks Id expect double boxes, its not a big thing, when ROB starts shipping them you will really cuss. That sombitch uses peanuts, cardboard, tape and boxing that wont quit. At least my cats enjoy all the clutter. Woody.
I just picked up my wavetrac in a rounded out box. No signs of damage on the unit which is a good thing. Ohh and members who are getting theirs shipped to Canada, expect a $92.98 fee from customs and brokerage.
I will be waiting for this video sunday night with the specs, shims, and whatever else is important.
I will be tearing my car apart monday night. Dropping the rear end, wavetrac, and everything else that is needed and with as much info and specs as possiable just so there is no doubt on Tuesday.
Pick it up later on in the week (I told them not to rush it) Hopefully have it ready for the following weekend! I also will take photos!

Mine arrived in a perfect box ..... but it makes noise installed. Which do you prefer? Next week it gets taken apart again to see what the problem is. Returned under warranty, new bearings or sloppy instal.

Well, since I had two, the box was bigger and fedex'd, and was in perfect condition. Hopefully the install goes the same way...can't wait to see the photos, or video professor...
