"It wasn't me"
Re: "It wasn't me"
[quote=Buggin]160MPH at 3900 RPM? I didn't think that was possible with the gearing.
And that engine temp guage is pretty low for that speed... humm.[/qu
With a bit of mods and an obvious ECU flash, they hit around 180mph (or more according to some)... And who knows! maybe he just started her up!

Re: "It wasn't me"
That pic is a total fake. Go with the facts and they don't add up.
( RPM x 0.07744 ) / final gear ratio = Speed in MPH
Final gear ratio of fifth gear in an SRT-6 is 2.55.
So...
3900 x 0.07744 / 2.55 = 118.4 mph
So according to the RPM in the picture, the car was going about 118 mph. Conversely (yes, I just used the word conversely, get over it) if the car were going about 160 mph, the RPM would need to be about 5,300 (5,269 to be precise). So those gauges don't match. Photoshop!
Just for ***** and grins, here's the final drive ratios for the other gears in an SRT-6:
1st: 11.037
2nd: 6.711
3rd: 4.313
4th: 3.070
5th: 2.551
And the top speeds (ignoring air resistance and power) in each gear (assuming 6,200 rpm):
1st: 43.5mph
2nd: 71.5mph
3rd: 111.3mph
4th: 156.4mph
5th: 188.2mph
