Default Hi All

I am the new owner of a SRT6, today i had the rear cats and resonator removed and the sound is right on! Also ordered the EC pulley w/ both the ECU and TCU tunes. Pretty excited for the pulley to come in next month. I live in the Austin area if anyone wants to meet up an b/s about cars or have a cold one.....just let me know!!

as a side note, does anyone know how to get ahold of needswings short of email? I tried but have not heard back....how long for a response on average?

Tommy

Congrats on your SRT6 purchase...Keep us updated on how the mods for your car turn out...I have a SRT6 roadster with no mods so far...Hopefully my finances will allow me to have a little fun with her in the near future...As for now, the only thing I'm doing is replacing the ic pump...You will be doing that soon enough as well...Trust me on that one...There is plenty of useful information on this forum...Post some pics when you can

Welcome aboard Tommy and congrats on having an awesome SRT-6. You are basically doing what I have already done. Rear cats & resonator deleted with the stock muffler is the perfect setup for me with very little drone inside the cabin. A pulley, CAI and tune and you are all set. I've been all smiles ever since! Enjoy this great forum that has all the knowledge one would ever need.

Tommy - you should go check out all the XF's at the Tail of the Dragon today. If Fontana Dam, NC isn't too far away you should go check it out. You will get to see a TON of modifications to SRT's while there.

Congrats on the new SRT - you will love her.

Welcome Tommy
Please check the sticky "SRT6 Serial numbers" to see if your SRT6 is on the list, if not, please provide the usual information, VIN#, color and coupe or roadster.....

just a quick question with the rear cat delete. will the car pass an emissions test with the rears removed? Im in CT, not sure if emissions vary much state to state

I guess that I will find that out next time it gets inspected but i would think so...here they dont sniff OBD2 cars if I remember correctly, only plug in to check for codes and such.
