Yep, just picked up a 2005 SSB SRT-6 coupe!





Unfortunately, it has a Florida COD (certificate of destruction) title.

A "COD" brand means it can never be registered. Parts only. Unless it runs through KY, where a salvage title would be issued instead of a COD. Yes they do that if a KY "resident" changes the title.

While the damage does not look bad, and it could be repaired, this one will be parted out. Sadly, another SRT-6 on the dead list.

looks like it ate a guard rail or something....opened her up like a can opener....

 

No scrapes on the side, looks like something sticking out horizontal, possibly the corner of the rear guard on a semi? Oddly, the door still fully closes to seat the glass in rubber window seal. Fascia, fender, slight repair to hood, a door and straighten the radiator mount, and that would be the majority of it. Scary how quick they are to total them!

 

and i need some interior parts and just the right color also, like glove box, center console ,panels around steering wheel,top dash pad, let me know

Please take off the temp probe in the lower grille. I need one and can't find anyone who has it

 

Tried to call, must been too late. The SRT-6 has a COD (non repairable) title, so parts will be coming off, not going on (sad, could have been rebuilt). Give me a ring tomorrow when you get a chance.

I have to get it shipped in before I can determine exactly what was damaged. Looks like everything except the front fascia, left front fender, left headlight, side marker, and drivers door skin, should all be in good undamaged condition. Hopefully, it will be in between Christmas and New Years.

I can say, regardless how small, if it is undamaged, it will be removed.

 

I would be interested in the steering wheel (no air bag required) if it's in good shape ...........let me know, cheers

 

I need a few interior parts. The passenger side sail panel and the grey plastic part that covers the seat belt on the same side. My painters busted mine. I may want a few other choice parts too.

You need to buy the other one that was just posted as being wrecked. It looks like it has all the parts you need to put it back together.

Whether you anticipated this or not, by creating this thread you just opened yourself up for business! You are going to have to go into the witness protection program before this is through to save yourself from the hundreds of SRT owners who will be asking for parts (kidding of course).

Best of luck with with parting her out. I have to say if I had the cash and the space, I would love to do this. Be really interested know how much you paid (I know that is a tacky question)?

I am watching that one and a couple others. While the one in Illinois could be rebuilt, the one I just bought can not due to the COD title brand.

 

Any news on the parts from this one yet ...........particularly the steering wheel ? .............
