How to change between mph and km/h
Hi, I'm on my way to buy a car from germany which was imported from the US. I'm wondering if it is possible to switch between mph to km/h.
Thanks in advance

Ja det går att göra. Svårare dock med själva tavlan. Elektroniska är lätt. Åk till mekonomen så kan du göra det själv med datan.
Yees you can!
more difficult changing the actual back piece.
Come on. The speedometer shows km/hr behind (beneath?) the mph markings. I think the issue is changing the odometer to reflect km instead of miles. Usually the German cars need a special diagnostic (read dealer) tool to re-program the electronics. But someone smarter than me may have the true answer. Maybe one of the Canadian members.

Well I have done it with the Celsius. Did not do the miles to kmh due to odometer "miles" text. That is what I meant with the back piece. Sry for post in Swedish but there it was answered. So not only Canadians are the ones with the brains. The forum gave me powers aswell

Take it to Mekonomen and do it yourself.
What do you mean by doing it myself? I live in Stockholm and know the owner of the store in Farsta. I have never heard that I can do something like this at Mekonomen. It sounds like I'm missing something.
