I'm getting a little frustrated!
Ok Im still with my gorgeous sexy wonnnderfulll SRT6 . My love, My life.
HOWEVER Im getting a little bit bored now.. I wish it to be faster. (I suppose now that its been with me for 6 years, I might be used to performance, so Ive hit a plateau)
QUESTION: How do I make it faster? I would appreciate 'reality' over 'fantasy' as I have set aside a budget to make changes - permanent road-legal changes.
The most important thing is, if you are going to chime in on this, please remember that I am in the UK, not USA - so a little british skill/FB/tuning Links would be appreciated!!
Ive spoken to a few guys, and they all say "upgrade??well you won't keep it straight, it will be all over the place" - a fair point, as it is very skitty with trac on (ive spun it on trac off a few times)
(my goal to get SRT6 under 4 seconds, oh please God This would be awesome)

I agree with what other have told you. Leave it as is. I've never driven an SRT-6, but from what I've heard it's night and day from the N/A. My car feels quick to me, so if I had the SRT I can't imagine wanting it any "faster" unless it was going to be strictly a track car.

Really?, some have timed the SRT6 doing 0-60 in under 4 seconds? I did not realize this.
Oh, and what they said. A few basic mods really opens this car up.

^^^ what Mimi05SRT6 and Holycrap said.... and you will still be street legal....at least in the US...
You can get a tune and SC pulley from Eurocharged and a single or dual cold air intake from Needswings....you can get a crank pulley from Needswings or EC..... you can also build your own CAI with off the shelf parts.....Mimi can give you ideas on that....

My old Kawasaki would do 0-60 in 2.2 seconds, and I think my butt dyno is good enough to tell you the cars I have have done 0-60 in 4 seconds.... So, I agree...cold air intake, a pulley change of your choice, and a tune to bring them together will give you a lot more out of your car... There are certainly more things you can do, but that is a great start... and not a bank breaker...
I did the needswings intake ran better but not huge. Put on the sc pulley and wow its a lot faster. Especially off the line. A couple weeks later I did the tune remote on the lap top with Adam at Eurocharged. The car is now blindingly fast. The funny thing with fast is you adjust to it.Don't drive the car for a week get in and it feels faster again.
My nephew started racing Junior Dragsters when he was 10. When he was 16, he moved into an alcohol funny car. He ended up, eventually, in a jet dragster.
The problem with wanting to go faster, is you never seem to get to "fast enough"

Look, I have a 4200 lb 300c with a stock 5.7 Hemi and a bolt on remote turbo, and on stock tires, I have pulled a 4.18 second 0-60.
Getting an SRT6 under 4 seconds is more of a traction problem than a performance mod problem. Do the simple performance mods, then work on the traction issues where you can use that power.

I have been frustrated since I bought my SRT6. I have no place to turn it loose. If I go 0-60 in 4.8 seconds I get a warning ticket. It happened and the cop said last one. So I go 0-60 in 6 seconds.
