Default Classic Yellow SRT Roadster

Never seen one like this before. Its for sale not far from my place and appears to be in greatcondition w/ only 25k on the odo and comes with the SRT Luggage. Obviously owned by an enthusiast....but why not just paint an SRT? I think the price is a good joke though....27k for an N/A roadster w/ some add ons? Oh My.

Whether it was an SRT or N/A...the price is what kills me.

This is becoming one of the new Black Maxx Edition cars, a new thread is started discussing it every few weeks.

Why would anyone pay $28k for a car that will always be titled as a limited, when a true SRT-6 Roadster with similar miles can be had for $18-$20K.
Also, for the seller to stating that the over cost is due to what he/she paid for the two cars is quite the joke.

I paid $24k for my brand new SRT-6 coupe 5 years ago and have put $6k in upgrades, tires, maintenance and repairs. It has 25k miles, so I guess I should sell for $30k!! Wouldn't it be great if resale worked that way.

I renamed this monstrosity a few weeks ago in another thread. I dubbed it "The TweetyBird Edition" so as not to be confused with the black max. So it is said, so it is done!

This car made me realize that I want the SRT bumper for my yellow car. I will never understand why someone would do this. They used 2 XF's to make one -they are still charging you for 2 on the sales price though. Wouldn't it have been way faster & easier to just paint an SRT Classic Yellow?!?!?!

I think the price is right. I think all XF's should be in the 30's....price range. Especially if a private seller. I want to sell mine now.... Either one $30K....or package deal $55K for both.... yep, that's my price and I'm sticking to it... I have the Blk Max/Blue Bird Editions...

Now I remember why I did not buy a raodster XF, the trunk is sooo small. I guess it won't fit a golf club nor a pizza carton... But hey, that is just my $0.02 and what I need my car for.
For just a cruise to the beach or mall I guess its awesome!Difficult with the shopping bags maybe good to keep the missus from buying a lot.. or is she just switching to smaller things.. i.e jewellery...

If you have the money to sacrifice 2 XF's to make one then you can afford to buy a daily driver to haul things around. I don't think that our cars are designed to be grocery getters. My car has never even been to a grocery store & it never will.

Who mentioned groceries? Anyways, I had two cars myself and did not like it. Better to have one to share your love with. That's why I went from having a fast roadster and a fast coupe to just a very fast coupe. For me then space is an issue. But as you say it was not designed to have a lot of space. But not being able to carry golfclubs is a dealbreaker. Hence the R8 v8 is out of the pic for instance. The Maserati gt is marvellous though...

Back to topic, the yellow car, I would not touch it. For 30k a almost 90% ok car, no way. Put another 20 and we have the Maserati.

The XF Roadster has a larger trunk than the others. Take a look at the trunk of a Z4, 350Z Vert, or Solstice.
I can pack a weekend of camping in my XF. Shopping bags? Your kidding...right?

If I had the chance to own an Audi R8 in any form, I would sell every golf club I owned and throw in the tees.

Passenger seat works great for the clubs when I drive the roadster to the course and they never say PLEASE slow down as the passenger sometimes does .
