Default Engine Number Location?

Hi Guys,

I thought this would be a simple question, and I have tried to source an answer using the "Search" function already with no luck..

Where is the Engine Number located?

I am bringing my Crossfire through my State's Dept. of Motor Vehicles tomorrow morning, so I can get it registered (I bought it Interstate). The Police Officer's will need to record the Engine Number..

Cheers

Hi Michael, I took it down to Regency Park and had a one hour wait for it to be inspected.. The Lady Cop who works there knew exactly where the Engine Number was located (they are at the back of the block on the Right hand side). I had a quick chat with her and she said that a Crossfire Roadster came through a few months ago also..

I am happy to say she's all legally registered now..

Ahh good work. More crossfires in Adelaide can only be a good thing!

Hopefully see you around the streets.

Michael

Cheers Mate! I really love driving it everyday for work - the weather has been awesome!

I think I am going to do the IC Pump and CPS soon, I might as well do them before they break down.

Also, I don't know if it is my imagination, but sometimes it doesn't seem to have much power as at other times.. I am not sure if it needs a tune or some other issue?

That def sounds like an IC pump situation (sometimes not much power), and about the CPS make sure it is only a Bosch!

Cheers Mate! Thanks for the advice.. I thought it may have been an IC pump, but wasn't quite sure..

I am used to driving a Toyota Yaris as a daily car, so anything that has an engine bigger than 1.3 litres feels like a "muscle car"..

[QUOTE=Adam Downunder;661167]Witajcie chłopaki,

myślałem, że to będzie proste pytanie, ale bezskutecznie próbowałem znaleźć odpowiedź za pomocą funkcji „Szukaj”.

Gdzie znajduje się numer silnika?

Jutro rano przywiozę mojego Crossfire'a do Departamentu Pojazdów Silnikowych mojego stanu, abym mógł go zarejestrować (kupiłem go na autostradzie międzystanowej). Policjant będzie musiał zapisać numer silnika.

Pozdrawiam[/QUOTE

Wydaje mi się, że znajduje się tutaj z tyłu silnika, na pokładzie bloku za głowicą cylindrów na banku 2. Gdy znajdziesz czujnik położenia korby, jesteś tuż obok niego. Najlepiej przetrzeć obszar pokładu szmatką, a następnie użyć aparatu cyfrowego do zrobienia zdjęcia. Naprawdę trudno to dostrzec.
