Default Do you have patience?

So I ordered this IC pump last wednesday. I knew it would take at least a week but it feels like the slowest week ever.

The SRT really isn't that much fun without the SC and I can't wait to get it going again...expecially with the Texas Motor Speedway coming up next week.

Is this just part of the McDonalds mentallity? I just don't know how to wait anymore?

btw, I'm tracking the pump and it's currently in MI so it's going to be another 2-3 days. Grrr

I am with you. I have a hard time waiting for stuff too. What type of pump did you get, Johnson, Bosch, C32?

I ordered the centric brake rotors with posi quiet rotors and threw in some SS brake lines. The pads arrived quick the rotors a little later (USPS threw them around and dinged up the rotors and one box even had been re-tapped by USPS) and the brake lines never showed up 4+ weeks later the 2nd set also didn't show up and the vendor just cancelled the order and credited my paypal account back. USPS really messed up.

Meanwhile I am pending the refund transaction, then re-ordering from Needswings.

I like Needswings and am happy to support him.

It appears Rob is a one-man show and probably doesn't carry a huge inventory. I'm guessing when an order is placed, he needs to get it in from somewhere then ship it out requiring a few more days than a big parts house would need.

Really, with the mod stuff, there's no great need and time isn't that critical but this pump is a different thing as the car is broken until it gets here. That's why I'm so uppity about it.

It's just a Bosch OEM design pump as I'll be lucky to successfully install it without having to modify the part.

Well, it depends. Since this is not my daily driver I usually do have patience with equipment orders and projects....but lately I have done many projects close together that have prevented me from driving the car much. My patience is beginning to be tested since the weather has been so good of late. Hopefully it will be on the road again next week.

Awh, don't go there :/

I don't think I will get to it this week now as I'm heading out of town.
I will take vacation time next week if I have to. Right now there's 2 slow cars in the garage and that needs to change asap!

I am not sure if the 25th comment by magredvet was for me or The Beep or both!

So I will answer as well. YES!!! it will be ready by the 25th. I am beginning to push a couple of project ideas to after the 25th to make sure I am ready to go. Everything is coming together and looking great.
