I think, but not sure, that the fuel pump in my '99 SLK230 and '01 SLK32 are interchangeable.
I'm selling my 230
I just bought a Code3 for my SLK32 - not installed yet - maybe a month or so. So I'm thinking more fuel may be helpful. 32Crazy upgraded to an SL55 pump PNa0014704994.

I have to replace the pump in my 230 (before sale), so I was thinking should I buy an SL55 pump and put it on the SLK32 and then put the SLK32 pump on the 230.

Although...SL55 pumps maybe a lot more expensive....that's the price you pay eh..

Can anyone confirm my thinking?

I'm presuming you are refering to the mounting of the new SL55 pump. Of course you can see your own pump for mounting of that. The link 32Krazy's prvided below of the one he purchased - it looks just like the pump I have on the SLK230 now and - I presume (cause its behind a cover) - as per the SLK32. That is no different - if that answers your question.
