Default Goodbye SRT6

For financial reasons I need to say goodbye to my Roadster SRT6, but I'm afraid of getting a bum deal on it. In everyone's honest opinions, what value would you give a December 2006 SRT in very good condition? Someone mentioned around £8k, but I don't want to go to a salesman and get ripped off.

It has about 5 scratch marks, one tiny dent and the roof still works but one of the flaps (technical term) needs to be pushed up manually. Apart from that it's a beauty.

To bad you are not in the US, as I am looking for a Roadster.... it might help to state the mileage.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I think its priceless but that's not what you want to hear.

Wow, £8k in the UK? thats only about US$12 - 13k. Even for a dealer, that's got to be low.

For one of less than 50 manufactured 2006 SRT6 Roadster and with only 15k km (about 9.5k miles). And you're probably the only one on the island.

Dealers in the US are asking US$20 - 25K for low milage (under 25k miles) 2005 SRT6 Roadsters. See cargurus.com

If only you were in the US, I would buy it today. Good Luck

Thanks for information. Yeah it is the only one on the island, it's a shame I have to part with it. I will ensure I don't get ripped off, I will have to see what a dealer will offer. Could always sell it in the UK if needs be.

Has there been no interest from the UK Crossfire group members to buy it? You might want to try them for some help. Surely they wouldn't want you getting ripped off, much less losing the opportunity to purchase such a rare car.

Exclamation Re: Goodbye SRT6

Sorry to see you go. I luv luv luv my SRT coupe.

The reason for low prices on island may be the result of expenses associated with transferring cars from Channel Islands to the UK proper (analogous to transfer from Puerto Rico to US 48) :ugh: More here.

This is the first that I've mentioned it as it's just a very recent decision. Happy if anyone shows an interest on here.

Btw, the sun is shining today, so roof down and off I go. Gutted it has to go (

Is it right-hand drive and what color? I figure a grand to ship it back to the colonies, but emissions could be a problem.
