The Chrysler badge/emblem appeared below the left tail light on all Crossfires sold in Europe and other locations, but not in the Western Hemisphere. Assuming because Chrysler was headquartered in the USA, who knows? I saw quite a few in the UK and Europe on various sales websites.
This was not a first time scenario....

I have information to add to this list if it helps anyone for # 702 on the list.

Attached is the carfax report for VIN 5x043008 and it's wrecked with massive frame damage out of Alabama. I have a video as well of the vehicle starting too from 9/6/18. I cannot confirm if it was totaled as I did the report on 9/7/18 but from the pictures I have I can't see how they wouldn't total it but then again I'm not an insurance adjuster so I have no clue how this would be handled but even so it would be salvage title if it was totaled. It was crashed on 9/1/18 and I found it on 9/7/18. I have many pictures of it too if anyone has a Google drive they'd like me to upload them to. I was going to buy this car as a project car for super cheap but the kid that wrecked it didn't want to do the deal with what I offered him so I walked.

Thanks!

One or two pictures should resolve any questions as to the status of this black SRT6 Coupe (43008), regardless of the attached Car Fax. So I will continue to report this car as a non-branded title car until there is published proof the title status has changed.
Thanks for your concern and appreciate your actions.....

The photos you've sent confirms this SRT6 is now a parts car, based upon the cost to replace the damaged parts. There is no way that it would be cost effective to put this one back on the road, based upon miles and any frame damage. You could not recover any of the funds spent on the repairs,
I will change the VIN# status in the database to Branded....
Thanks for the confirmation.

Thank you for responding to this thread, I've added your forum name to the existing line in the VIN# database. It will appear at the next publication date.
Thanks and enjoy your SRT6 Roadster.....

Is it an SRT though?
Black WS surround, black strakes and no spoiler visible.

You're right about the condition of that SRT6 Coupe, and it has over 147K miles on the odometer. The water must have been over the hood and the dash, since one photo shows dirt /water residue at the gauge cluster. Also noticed the owner painted the strakes black, like the body color. I wonder who took the windshield surround off the car? Maybe it was painted black as well?
Thanks for this find....

The spoiler is somewhat obscured on the main photo, but if you click on the copart link in Oppix56's initial posting, the other photos confirm the SRT6 rear spoiler. This one has been listed in the database for quite a while.
It's a SRT6, based upon the VIN# on the door as well.

Re-read the thread and look at the link he included too. It's an SRT. Here it is again for reference: https://www.copart.com/lot/54669760/...est-palm-beach

Thanks!

50228, listed as flood damage, the interior sure shows signs of it. I think the Bio-hazard stickers actually work with the blacked out look though!

Thanks for another branded title find of a SRT6 to a parts scenario. Maybe the sticker was added to the window by the owner to fend off any thieves !
This one brings the 2005 model year total to 149 that have been documented. I'm sure the actual total is more than double our total, since they are 16 years old.

Salvage GA Title - probably repairable but on the borderline... on a side note Copart's new login system is truly atrocious, I have to reset my password every time!

Thanks for finding another branded title SRT6. This maybe a rebuildable one, since the head lights look OK. I saw an ad for "new" headlights going for $1,000 each, making this rebuild a little pricey. I remember back in 2006 the new headlights were priced at $280, unbelievable increase in the cost!
As to the Copart site, they may have been hacked and this is their way of adding additional security, who knows....

Dennis

A tree limb hit the pass headlight on my coupe and scratched it. Ins. Company sent it to a shop that coincidentally is managed by a friend of mine. They got a replacement for a grand. It came from Europe but looked like a truck backed over it, replacement came a few days later and was fine. I don’t see any difference between the old US one and the new Euro one. I don’t know where they sourced it.

If you had received a headlight from the UK, it would have been a difference, due to right hand driving requirements of the UK. There are different adjustments (other than the extended screw type control) and appearance of the back side of the headlight unit. The unit you received should look like the USA model, since it was from Germany (left hand drive). We thought $280 in 2005/6 was expensive, but it really wasn't considering the scarcity of the headlights today.
Don't park near a tree in the future....
