I've reviewed the VIN# database and found your Crossfire SRT6 listed, but there is NO history of ownership that you are seeking at this time in the database that I maintain. I have your Crossfire listed as an Aero Blue Roadster. Where is the location of the COPART office, that you bought this car from? Since you have NO key, how was the car shipped to your location in Poland? Have you checked in every space in the interior they may have placed it for shipping, such as the glove box, console, ash tray, map pocket between the seats, under carpets and the seats?
You may want to contact Copart and speak to the representative that you contacted when you purchased the Crossfire. Was this Crossfire considered a total LOSS by an insurance company?

I bought the car recently, so it hasn't arrived yet. The fact that there are no keys was included in the auction announcement and I knew it. However, I thought that maybe here or on another forum I would be able to contact the previous owner. The auction was a week ago at DYER IN. I don't know enough English to ask by phone, so I use the Internet. If you can help me in any way, I will be grateful

Listed below are two of the suppliers for replacement keys for Crossfires. Both of these companies are in the USA. You must explain the key(s) are missing and determine how a "new" key can be made without an existing key. Send them an email for help in this matter. You will be required to provide proof of ownership with the documents of sale and title.

Hello, my name is Jeff Savage and I own the #268 vehicle SSB BoyzDad, For Sale as of 10/17 vehicle. I bought it Jan. 3, 2022, from Cruisin Classics of Columbus Oh. I would like to know how many owners this vehicle had before me and where the car was originally bought if at all possible. Any help to help me accomplish that goal would be much appreciated. So far, I've only been able to see 2 or 3 owners before me and some jumbled history from Carfax. Thanks in advance.

 

Hello Valk, this is Jeff Savage here. I'm replying to the post for newest forum members, that have not supplied their VIN3. In the files section for the vin numbers of all the Crossfires, my car is already listed in the #268 spot. It reads #268 5X037876 SSB C BoyzDad, For Sale as of 10/17. I am the newest owner of this vehicle as of January 3, 2022, when I bought this car. You saw this car at Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan this past August with all the Needswings upgrades. lol. I would like to ask if anyone could help me find out how many owners has had this car before me, and what dealer had it first if possible. I have seen possibly 2 or 3 previous owners, and some info on Carfax, but it's not too helpful on finding who was the original dealership or actual person who has owned it. I think it possibly bounced around between auto auctions as well, which is making difficult to see actually who owned it. Thanks for anyone who might be able to help.

 

You can call or email Chrysler Customer Service and they can give you most of the info you are looking for. I called and they gave me my original dealership which was located in Maryland.

I've updated your VIN#37876 in the database with your date of purchase and your forum name. The majority of the VIN#'s found were obtained through the various internet sites selling cars. Other than original owners submitting their VIN#'s and continued ownership, it's almost impossible to track down a history of prior owners.
Due to the age of the Crossfire SRT6 models, during my searches, some SRT6's have had 9+ owners. It has become very difficult to trace ownership status of these cars.

The car has already arrived. I managed to get two new complete keys and the car starts. I still have some work to do on it. But I'm still looking for information about it, who was its previous owner. I managed to find out that it had 2 owners in the US. The last owner had a house fire and the keys burned. I know it was in Michigan.
