Thanks for responding to this thread today, I've added your forum name to the existing line in the VIN# database. This update will appear in the August 2024 update. This site has a wealth of information to maintain or modify your SRT6 into the future by using the SEARCH button in the upper right of the main page. The vast volume of information has been collected since 2005.
Good luck with your "new" SRT6....
Regards,
Dennis

Thanks for posting the interior picture. I see the headliner has been replaced, nice job! Also I wonder if driver's seat has been replaced also? I see it has the MY 2005 style SRT6 logo whereas the passenger has the MY2006 style logo. I'd be interested to see the instrument cluster to see which style logo it has.

Interesting, thanks. '05's didn't come with side badges, just the hatch badge. I would think yours' has the '05 style hatch badge also.
This is not my car, and it didnt have one. I do not think they removed it tho. The car looked very original, except for the roof.

Great catch on the driver's seat SRT6 lettering. I have to believe the seat cover or seat was swapped out due to damage incurred in the past by one of the three previous owners.

Thanks for your latest information on the 2006 SRT6. I've added it to the VIN# database, without a member's name.

You found this one in July 2021, now finally meeting its death....

Dennis,
Actually, I had it crushed a couple of years ago, but forgot to publish its fate here since then. If these cars would have been built with bolt in front subframes, like nearly all other MBs, then it could possibly have been saved, but alas... FWIW, parts from this car are helping other Crossfires. Just today, the Duo valves and some heater hoses made their way into a roadster owned by the Kable's from MS.

I didn't add any additional information on that specific VIN# in the SRT6 database, since it was established as a branded title in 2021. The reason I color code each of the lines in RED, is to ID those cars to potential buyers. Some of the Branded Title cars are rebuildable and some titles have been WASHED by specific states, hiding the past history of those branded cars.
So, the message is, buyer beware....

Thanks for the response, concerning VIN# 37215. That one dates back to October 2023, and it was in the insurance lot (IAAI) at that time. It's amazing how long these salvage yards take to dispose of the cars. I recently found one that took 3 years to eventually be crushed after all of the parts were sold.

I checked the database. My new to me , Aug this year AB srt6 coupe (5X048515) is listed but no notes with it. I’m curious if there’s a way to get more background/history on it. There are a couple mods…the crossover surge cans, coolant split and a catch can.
