I'll save you even more! Buy my almost brand new (less than 500 miles on it) 64.7 EC 2nd gen. pulley for $430., and save $200. It is in perfect shape and I have zero issues w/ it. This is the pulley for those that want the power, but w/o the need to upgrade their fuel system. PM me if you're interested.
FYI, One size does not fit all when it comes to fueling and boost. One guy's 185 may run fat on a stock pump, while another guy's car is lean on just a 181. It's always best to have a wideband and know for a fact that you're not lean. Just my 2 cents.
If tailpipe black = fat?
What if it's fat until 5K, then leans out after that to 16 to 1? My point is, soot on the pipes confirms it's fat at some point, that's all. Just food for thought.
I love working with the guys at EC'd....but, like mentioned above. If you are running modified mani's, dual cold air...going to 61mm may run you lean.... I don't even see why anyone would want to run the 61 if they weren't intending to do these other mods including fuel... There aren't shortcuts here... one mod leads to another and if you aren't building that way...go with the larger pulley...stay in the safe range, or be willing to monitor your engine... I am sure if you discuss this with anyone at EC for your tune, they will explain it as well...

My mods:
Cm30
Supercooler waldig
Isolation kit
Catchcan
Psk for SC (updated)
64.7mm (today)
Dcai x3m filters
Ec tune 98 octane, elevation (low), limiter off
easiest way to monitor this? Can it be done at a local dyno after I installed + ec tune, and then they check that I am in the clear?
Second option, buy new fuelpump?
This is what i asked:
Hi EC! Hope all is well. Just a short question, will the car cope with following setup:
1 dcai (x3m)
1 psk
1 waldig supercooler
Ec ecu tune
And ...
A 61mm EC sc pulley?
I have the 64.7 mm today. Will I need to upgrade other things? Fuel pump? Intercooler? Or can I swap it and everything will be a o kay? What about running lean.
Answer I got:
Philip - An updated ECU tune would be required, but that's it.
