Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
I had no additional names of ownership other than it was up for sale at Jaguar of Virginia Beach, with no mention of the Branded Title (Salvage). Did the dealership divulge the status of the SRT6? I've added your name to the specific line in the database. Did they indicate who rebuilt the car?
Welcome to the forum and enjoy your SRT6 Roadster.....

The SRT6 count is at 2,444 out of 3733 sold worldwide for the 2005 year, manufactured at the Karmann plant. The information is located at the bottom of the VIN# database for anyone's review.

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Hey DTMENACE, Yes the dealer was very clear on the title being a rebuilt and the site that I originally found it on provided a free generic car history report which also stated that it had been in an accident in Florida in 2011 and ended up at an IAA Insurance auction. We plan on purchasing a more thorough car report soon. Sorry for the slow reply,Is it possible to somehow get notified when some reply's in a thread ? Thanks Dave

I don't think it was that one.We found 2"x3" black and white picture in the glove box of the damage,I'll try to attach a photo here.

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Been a reader of the forum for years and just signed up as an owner...held out for a mint SRT6
5X038215 Black coupe currently in heated storage waiting for spring.
Canadian market just turned 35,000 km
Needs a little headliner attention. Just starting to droop. Has the crayon smell and hoping a new one clears that up.
Thanks for a great site and wealth of knowledge.

Your "new" SRT6 really looks to be in great shape, looks to be well worth the wait for a great car! I've added your information to the database and it will appear at the next publish date.
