My warranty runs out on Feb 26th. I waited until the last minute to take the car in for the oil recirculation cover leak in case something else decided to go out at the last minute so I have an appointment on the 25th. I want them to look at the steering damper and motor mounts since they seem to be a common problem. Can you give me some "key" wording to explain why I believe they need replaced? If I just tell them to check for leakage they will say they did and could not find any problems. Perhaps if I could convince them with specific symptoms they will actually look.

 

Tell them you can feel the shifter move fwd & back during acceleration and deceleration. That was the symptoms I had when all 3 were bad.
