Cool, thanks.
I wish I could. My apartment complex/neighborhood has crazy speed bumps. Im already cutting it close at stock height. It would look awesome with a drop though.
That gold looks awesome.
I would get a set of these to hide the ugly silverish lug bolts.... I have a similar setup.
Mine are Black on the inside, with the lip stock, similar centers and the lug covers.

That looks really good with the black spokes..I was thinking of just painting the lug nuts but i think those are a better solutions since they wont get chipped and messed up if i need to take the lug nuts off.
Side note..Did you remove the side strakes when you painted them or did you just tape off that whole area? Ive been thinking about it but i dont want to have the hassle of trying to get them back on correctly
Thanks,
I had them all black (just plastidip since I dont want to paint the stock rims perm) but the wife thought it would look better with the lip stock so I cut and peeled the palstidip off the lips. I dont care for it as much as all black. I think all black makes the car look more planted to the ground - and a little meaner!!! HAHAHA
I have a similar situation that I cant lower the car as I can barely get it in my garage as is, already had to build some rubber "ramps" that sit on the incline of my driveway so it does not high center - there is approx a 40 degree down slope to get into my garage - inner city living at its best!!!
Anyway,
Taped and plastidip'd the first time, did not turn out so well and started to peel so removed for round 2, pretty easy on drivers, not so much on pass as I had to move the washer bottle out of the way after removing inner fender cover. I also found it easier to have the tire removed. I did the following:
- used a heat gun to warm the tape a bit, then used fishing line to "cut" between the strake and the car, they should come off easy after that.
- paint, clean up old glue and cut new double sided tape to fit strakes and re-install.
Lasted over a year so far with no issues.
