I reviewed the advertisement, but could not find the VIN# to add to the VIN# database. If you can find it, please forward it to me.
Thank You,

one of the photos has the compliance plate shown
1C3APE5NX6X068991
but I'm not sure why you would want to add it to the dbase?

This SRT6 is located in Australia, this is the reason for the high price. Anyone selling their SRT6 may consider sending it there, the shipping costs would justify the large difference in pricing.....

There are certain countries that recognize the date of registration within the country, not the manufactured date. This is definitely a 2006 model year, it's legit!

note - Australian's (like South Africans and Brits-UK) drive on the left hand side of the road .....in their right hand drive vehicles....
I really LOVE this car, but I simply can't justify buying it.
Because the Miles (kilometres) are so low, I would feel guilty driving it, therefore it would just sit in the Garage collecting dust... After all, it's value is in the low mileage..

a) that's Austrailan dollars, its only U$45999
b) Florida had import taxes (around $300) for a while, they now call it something else ("new tag fee")
c) VIN says '06 and factory RHD, maybe OZ dates from import not manufacture.
d) looks like all Crossfire VIN numbers are sequential from start of production in '03, that is unusual but handy. Does mean there was only one "00001".

The first SRT6 produced was 11854, it was used as a "Mule", strictly used as a preproduction model to work out the issues and add any improvements by the Chrysler engineers. After all of the changes were made to begin the assembly line production of the SRT6's, this "mule" was probably destroyed by Chrysler.
At this time, we do not have a difinitive beginning production SRT6 to the public, but we are aware of the VIN numbers of the two SRT6's used by the Chrysler marketing department, when they were used at the auto shows around the USA. Those two VIN's are 22420 (Aero Blue Coupe) and 23809 (Sapphire Silver Blue Roadster).
That is the latest info we have, since Chrysler has not provided us with a complete listing of all SRT's manufactured.

It was actually 000001, but yes.
One is a lonely number, but you have to start somewhere.
Sometimes it is impossible to make two when you only have one.

Swedes used to drive on the left but they switched. Had a very low national speed limit for a while.
Think it had something to do with the side a lance is on when jousting but Americans needed to keep their gun hand free.
I learned to drive in a LHD 41 Ford in a RHD country. No wonder I'm confused.
Was more making the point that the Crossfire was designed to be right or left hand drive, unlike most American cars no modification was needed for OZ. Last gen GTO had the opposite problem.
Can usually tell real quick if a car is a conversion by how the brake lines are routed.
ps but it is easy to make three if you have two (and fun).
