Removed the Black Plastidip from my wheels a week or two ago and decided to go take a few pics with some friends, thought id share a couple.. And my friend is selling his passat so we got a few waitresses from a local restaurant to take some pics with it..

 

So are the wheels actually gold or is that another layer of dip?

Looks good! I do not generally like SSB or gold wheels on anything but an STi, but they way you tied it in with the fog lights looks great. I think a friend of mine may have sent me a photo of your car if you are on instagram...

Where is the passat located, seems like a good deal for a modded W8...

 

The gold is actual paint. Grimmspeed bbs gold. The Passat is in Columbus, oh. Just has wheels and exhaust. Think he wants around $6500 for it.

 

I like it, if for no other reason than it's different from the usual monochromatic path people take.
