Default First documented C7 Stingray kill?

I think I'm the first with proof at least. Maybe I'm wrong, but it was fun watching him load it on the trailer after our run! Enjoy folks!

Wouldn't even be close Jim! But you could have fun against the GT-Rs around here.

Nice kill, but he lost at the start. He was waaaaay late.... A little practice and he will be back. Time for you to bring it down some more Chuk. I know that car can push a 12 flat... And I know you know it too.....

I could probably hit 11s if I had a Wavetrac and some slicks. Thankfully Kim said yes to both after last night. Must have had 20 people come up and ask what was under the hood. The whine is melodic with the K&N X-Stream filters on the duals!

Hey, a win is a win. Driver ignorance apart. NOS didn't activate? Too bad, you lost. Unfamiliar car? Too bad, you lost. Sleeping at the light? Too bad, you lost. Broke traction? Too bad, you lost. Personally, I like the races where both drivers get the most out of their respective cars ..... and I win. Good job but as Doc mentioned, don't expect them all to be so slow by driver incompetence. After all the bla, bla, bla, NICE KILL! Viva los SRT-6!!!

I never underestimate the car, but the driver is always a different story. 900 WHP GT-R....misses a shift, 1,137 WHP Supra....misses a shift, 600+ WHP C5 Z06....misses a shift. It's about the challenge for me. I think the car is doing pretty well in full street trim. If I'm going to hit 11s it will definitely require stickier tires. Love the way the car is running and fear changing anything until I've reached the limit of where it sits right now. Like oledoc said, it's capable of a flat 12...I'm sure of it. Weather will play the biggest factor now. Florida can't decide between spring and summer at the moment! lol

I hate you guys that can get a fast time on street tires. Heck, I'm a loser on drag radials! A best of 11.992 at 117.xx but most of my runs are 12.oxx. My best on street tires was 12.75. 113 mph, for me, doesn't say 12 flat unless you flat hook of the line at WOT, almost impossible on streets. I'm at 117 regularly and have only broken 12's once. But again, bla bla bla from me while your getting it done. Learn me how, please. I'm learning empaired .... apparently.

I'm running a 1/4 mile tune where you probably have your tune set up for mid-range power. This is an assumption based on your Solocross interests. Or maybe Gunther put together one hell of a motor! Doubt it's a driver mod you need...lmao.

The driver mod you have Chuk. That was a great launch on your part. I counted to two on the vette's part. That is huge. I have done a 12 on street tires with the roadster. So I know that coupe is capable and that was before the wavetrac. You have come a long way. Get the wavetrac in, and have you done the mani's?
Les. I guess I didn't realize how close I was to you when I was in Punta Cana last October. LOL. I googled your track. Might have to plan my next vacation to PR.... As for a win is a win. I guess I see it differently. When two guys get a great launch together, in comes down to the cars. Many, many races are won at the starting line, but to brag on the car, I like to see both leave close, and see who pulls it out at the end.

No manis for me doc. Thumper has them with a single and a 62mm pulley. That setup without fuel mods caused him go to go lean at the top of third gear, so when he swaps the 65 back on we will see how they do against each other. If everything I wanted wasn't $1000+, I'd be right there with all the other big dogs that drag. Except Jim that is!

I figured she had the bones for it, just needed someone who would take it to the next level.

Still lurking, but rarely. Enjoyed the SRT but nowadays spend my time on the Wrangler Forums. Putting myself in a new 2-door shortly. I live in Kansas City now, so a 4x4 makes more sense.
Have fun!
Jeremy
