Question Does SRT-6 have a boost gauge?

I've looked at the Chrysler site but I didn''t see any boost gauge. Is there one on the SRT-6?

Interesting... then does anyone know how much boost the stock SRT-6 engine runs?

I know that a lot of factors will impact how much boost individual cars can run, heat, humidity, altitude etc.... just wondering what it was developed or designed for.

Thanks

You would be better off trying to pull figures off of a SLK AMG32. Same motor. I am guessing no boost gauge is needed as the supercharger is dis-engauged when the car is at idle. Since it doesn't regulate boost, since it is shaft or belt driven, no need to view it. Stock guages rarely show how much psi it is pushing anyway. My guess would be 8psi, however I have seen some posts speculating 12 - 14.

Cool thanks... I've done a lot of reading on turbo's and even added one to a previous car but I have not done much reading about superchargers... off to the library!
