Default My baby has Issues...

Hey guys! It has been several years since I last was on the forum, but I still own my baby! I just hit 65k miles on it...... I am posting to all of you in hopes that I can resolve 2 issues with my 6.

1. IAT's are not cooling down.......I already bought the IC pump from Rob recently and it did not solve the issue. The pump works as my brother (he owns a repair shop) was able to hot wire the pump to make sure. Pump is fine, but when I data log, the IAT's just keep climbing over 200 deg! Then of course the supercharger cuts out and it drives worse than a 3cyl car. lol Any recommendations of fixes or potential issues? Also my brother cannot access the computer with his scanner?? It just wont connect. Not sure why that is? He has tried 2 different scanners as well. I have the LET tune on it, but that shouldn't prevent him from not accessing the computer with a scanner right? Weird thing is, I use a kiwi wifi unit with REV and it does hook up to the computer so I can see the IAT's, timing etc.....

2. Driving to work this morning and it was running ok (Minus the IAT issue) and all of the sudden, the car felt like it was running on 2 cyl. Very rough idle and when I hit the gas, it would stall. I had 3/4 tank of gas in it at the time so i don't think it was the gas. With the car in the "on" position while turned off, I opened the hood and everything was going crazy! The MAF was clicking and the supercharger was trying to engage while it was off?! Then all of the sudden the fan kicks on high! Just really weird stuff......Could it be the computer or the MAF?

Thanks guys!

Engine control relay in the RCM possibly.
Do you have a spare you can swap?

Your IAT sensor could be bad. It will cause the s/c to shut down. I think DJ has it right on the relay.

Thank you, I appreciate that! Last night, I went back to see if the car would start and drive and it did! It was fine. I got it home and was poking around the air intake and I heard a leak somewhere. I am going to start taking it apart and see what I can find. I am hoping it is just that simple and will fix both issues I am having with it. I will keep you posted. BTW, I love your documentation on "common problems". Awesome job man!
